Andrea Torres-Angulo
Background and experience
Attorney
Andrea grew up in Fontana, CA where she witnessed early in life the unnecessary battles low-income communities of color face when they are denied basic rights in the workplace and other areas of their lives. Andrea saw how hard workers, like her parents, often became targets of wage theft, workplace harassment, and discrimination. Andrea's personal experiences drove her to attend law school and to be a zealous advocate to protect and defend the livelihoods of individuals.
Andrea has experience litigating individual employment cases and representative cases including PAGA actions against small and large scale companies. In her career, Andrea has represented employees and has recovered large settlements that include relief for unpaid wages, penalties for Labor Code Violations, and other declaratory relief to help improve working conditions.
Andrea has litigated numerous unlawful detainer cases and recovered relocation assistance payments for tenants who were initially denied any due process rights.
Andrea has also helped individuals gain protections to live their lives freely without the interference of egregious harassment with the protection of civil restraining orders.
Andrea is passionate about protecting an individual's property in the event of death or incapacity. That is why she also helps individuals create plans that will guide their loved ones in the unexpected event of death or incapacity.
